Implementation of robust function code that delivers the necessary control function is our speciality. Very often prototype machine code can end up being unnecessarily complex and difficult to maintain due to unplanned function implementation. Our software and hardware planning experience for a mobile vehicle allows us to maintain flexibility, safety strategies and documentation whilst giving consideration to capacity allowances for future upgrades.

Testing of our own robust function code is an essential part of validating our own work and ensuring the function will deliver end user requirements. Firstly, we test for all the usual things such as longevity, reliability, stability with temperature, diagnostic coverage, safety interlocks, general operator usability etc etc. Secondly and if required, we conduct "monkey testing". This usually involves a brain storm of unusual machine operating conditions or operator misuse. Monkey testing has revealed all sorts of potential field problems and allowed fixes and solutions to be implemented at prototype stage of machine development.
